AC HD EBF is a blend of different, complex, alcoholether sulfates without butyl cellosolve that functions in fresh, hard, and saturated brine water. AC HD EBF produces large volumes of stable foam even in the presence of oil.
• Air foam drilling – as an aid in removing water and drill cuttings from the wellbore.
• Foam fracturing – in nitrogen generated foam to provide sand transport and fluid loss control.
• Effective temperature range up to 350°F (177°C)
• AC HD EBF should be added to the water in the liquid injector tank downstream of the compressors and booster. Dosage rates are best determined from field tests. An optimum concentration for a specific field should be the goal.
• Pilot testing for foam height and foam half-life should be determined utilizing the field make-up water prior to application.
• No harmful solvents such as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether.
• Highly effective foaming agent producing half-life readings over 5 minutes in fresh water and over 3 minutes in saturated brine.
• Highly biodegradable.
