Hydro-Lith E

DESCRIPTION

Hydro•Lith E represents the most advanced technology in gas drying deliquescents to date. Produced as a eutectic in a novel process, developed and patented by Clearwater engineers, Hydro•Lith E eliminates many of the drawbacks that have been historically associated with conventionally produced gas drying tablets. Since a eutectic pellet represents a homogeneous new crystalline form, the problems of tablet compression, tablet disintegration and dusting are virtually eliminated.

Hydro•Lith E has been developed to meet the economic, environmental and performance requirements of a more demanding gas processing market.

Hydro•Lith E is engineered to meet dew point requirements where other desiccants can not. Its drying performance surpasses that of competitive lithium based drying tablets.

APPLICATIONS

Hydro•Lith E should be used in a single pass, multistage, high pressure contactor. Hydro•Lith E  drying systems can be installed downstream of Desiccant RG (calcium chloride type) dryers to minimize the consumption of product.

PERFORMANCE

Outlet moisture levels from a Hydro•Lith E drying tower are determined by the physical properties of the gas. Lower temperatures and higher pressures tend to improve performance, while the opposite is true for higher temperature and lower pressures. The following figure details the drying performance of Hydro•Lith E at various pressures and temperatures.

Hydro•Lith E may be a skin irritant and may also irritate the eyes. Rubber or Plastic gloves are recommended.  First Aid:  Skin–Wash with soap and water.  Eye–Flush with a large volume of fresh water.  If irritation persists get medical attention.  Read and understand the Material Safety Data Sheet.

PACKAGING OPTIONS

Available in 50 & 400 pound containers, sealed with an inner plastic bag.  Store in a cool dry place. Do not store at temperatures above 120°F.  Keep container sealed!
